Ex post evaluations

The ex post evaluation is an orderly and systematic methodological procedure for evaluative analysis of the investment programs and projects financed by CAF.

The purpose is to know if the expected results are achieved and what is the impact that is generated. To increase the effectiveness of these programs and projects, CAF established the ex post evaluation as an instrumental measure that promotes Management for Development Results (GPRD). This approach involves the systematic and objective assessment of an ongoing or completed program or project, its design, its implementation and its results, seeking to identify good practices and internalize lessons learned with a view to future investment cycles.

Below are the summaries of ex post evaluations. The evaluation proposals are published in accordance with the institutional regulations of CAF.
