It is a short course designed as an introductory gateway to the challenges and opportunities that Latin America and the Caribbean are facing towards climate change, drawing on the insights and lessons from the Report.

What is a NOOC?
It is a short, online and free course. These nano courses have been developed to enable Latin Americans and Caribbeans to learn quickly, easily, and concisely about development issues relevant to the region.
Objective:
Raise awareness and educate participants about the urgency and importance of addressing climate change and biodiversity loss, highlighting the region's critical role in these phenomena and the need to adopt effective policies for a sustainable future.
Specific objectives:

Understand the key concepts of climate change and biodiversity loss, their causes, effects, and the urgency of addressing them.

Analyze how climate change affects food security, water, health, and other vital aspects in the region.

Examine current adaptation, mitigation, and conservation policies, evaluating their impact and areas for improvement.
Target audience:
This course is intended for professionals, students, and anyone interested in finding solutions to these global issues from a regional perspective, as well as for those who wish to contribute to sustainable development in their communities.
Methodology:
This course is delivered through an autonomous, flexible, and interactive approach, allowing participants to progress at their own pace and access the content from anywhere. Its modular structure combines the following learning resources:
