Innovation Week- Mining Sector
In order to articulate and strengthen innovation systems of Latin American institutions, CAF—development bank of Latin America—is developing the Business Innovation Program to improve Research, Development and Innovation (R+D+I) capabilities of innovative companies, think tanks and national innovation systems.
The workshop will take place on May 6-10 in the city of Arequipa, Peru, and it aims to transfer resources, knowledge and skills to promote and implement formal management processes of innovation in participating institutions. We have the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Arequipa as a local authority.
On this occasion, the program is designed for general and operational managers of institutions engaged in the mining sector, with an interest in promoting their innovation processes and culture.
The workshop will cost three hundred US dollars (US$300). Registration fee includes the cost of training, materials and meals.
Institutions wishing to participate must submit their application no later than April 17, following the guidelines in the document “Innovation Week - Mining Sector” notice attached to this call.
In the framework of the Business Innovation Program,CAF—development bank of Latin America—in partnership with Transforme Consultores, have already organized six editions of the “Innovation Week” program. This format includes one week of full immersion in innovation, with four full days where participants will exchange innovation tools, experiences and capabilities, and a fifth day with practices or customized advice for participating institutions (optional).
