Presentation of the 2015 Economy and Development Report (RED) in Beijing

In Beijing, CAF, Development Bank of Latin America and the Latin America Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (ILAS) will present the 2015 Economy and Development Report "A more effective State. Skills for the design, implementation, and learning of public policies".
An effective State requires skills for the design, implementation, and learning of policies. The 2015 RED suggests four key elements to achieve it: quality bureaucracy, a system of public purchases, citizen participation, and monitoring and evaluation.
