DATAFIRM-LATAM International Seminar: Administrative data for research on productivity in Latin America
This seminar will analyze the potential benefits and challenges faced by different countries to increase direct and safe access of researchers to the administrative micro-data of productive units, so these data can be used to improve policy decisions aimed at promoting productivity in the region
Prestigious academics, important staff members of areas with statistical responsibility regarding company data, and experts on legal, technological, and statistical aspects will exchange information through a day of experiences that will enable a clear visualization of the benefits of having research based on administrative data, and which are the available tools applied in more developed countries so that researchers can access these administrative data in a safer manner.
