GCF Readiness Consulting Services in Chile - Sustainable Housing Project

Individual consultants are called to submit proposals to assist the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Housing of Chile in adjusting the Sustainable Housing project, so that it can be entered as a proposal for funding by the Green Climate Fund. Consultants will support the capitalization on the financial structuring methodology for other projects in the portfolio of initiatives proposed by the Designated National Authority.

Minimum requirements:

1. Academic degree: civil engineer, industrial engineer, mathematics, statistics, commercial, or other similar discipline as long as they hold a postgraduate degree in economics or finance.
   
   
2. At least 10 years of professional experience, including:

• • At least 5 years of experience in product design in the financial industry.
  • Design experience for development strategies or programs, design of systems for the development of sustainable housing projects.
  • Modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience in technical assistance projects.
  • Languages: Spanish and advanced spoken and written English.
  • Consultants must reside in Chile.

Recruitment is carried out within the framework of the Readiness program for Chile’s Green Climate Fund (GCF) – a process promoted by the Chilean government through its designated national authority before the GCF (Ministry of Finance).

Delivery deadline is October 9, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. (Chile time), at the email listed in Section XI (General conditions) of the Terms of Reference of the call.
