Online launch: Professional Certificate in Governance and Public Innovation (2nd edition)
CAF -Development Bank of Latin America- invites you to the launch of the 2nd edition of the Diploma in Governance and Public Innovation.
Event date:
April 24, 2023

A good public manager must help strengthen the trust between the State and the citizenry, for which he/she must have the knowledge and understanding of social needs, as well as the tools and experience to address public problems in an innovative way.
Based on this argument, the discussion will focus on the skills that public officials at the national and subnational levels in our region need to formulate and implement better public policies and contribute to improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of our countries.
- What are the skills required to work in the State and propose differentiating approaches when proposing solutions to public problems?
- How to bring innovation to the State to make it closer to the people, more agile and transparent?
- Are only those who work in public administration, whether at the national or subnational level, responsible for promoting changes and modernization of the State to face the current and future challenges of our region?
All these questions will be answered in this webinar, which main objectives are: to make public servants and officials aware of the importance of updating their knowledge on governance, state management and public innovation; to present the state of governance and public innovation in the region and its importance to meet the needs of citizens and improve the state/citizen relationship; to strengthen the service vocation of those who perform functions in the state, or in institutions linked to improving the quality of life of communities.
