Transformational Leadership in Digital Economy
This webinar, organized by CAF and Singapore Cooperation Enterprise, will discuss the transformation to digital economy and also initiatives that Singapore had undertaken over the last few years to prepare ourselves for this new frontier. Holistic approach of transformation included digital inclusivity, innovation, human capital development, industry transformation and digital government. We will also discuss new ways of thinking and leadership that are essential to be successful in this new era.

In addition, a connected world, which will become hyper-connected with 5G, quantum computing, edge computing and tech savvy consumers paves the way for innovation to thrive and new business models to be evolve. This has not only challenged conventional wisdom but also disrupted industries as opposed to just companies as in the past. This flux of technology disruptions, people, geo-political shifts and unforeseen situations such as COVID-19 will characterise tenets of Digital Economy.

Kong Wy Mun

Chief Executive Officer Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE)
Graduated at the Imperial College of London with honors in 1996 and also was an overseas SIA scholar. He held management positions in organizations, such as the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and Singapore Airlines. Mr. Kong has been with SCE since its inception in 2006 helding positions such as as Director of Asia Pacific, Director of Finance, Admin and Operations, and Director of China Trainings.
Pablo Sanguinetti

Vice President of Knowledge, CAF –Development Bank of Latin America-
He has a Ph.D. and a Master's in Economics from the University of California, and a Master's in Economics from Instituto Torcuato Di Tella. Currently, he works as a professor of Economics at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. His research interests are in the areas of foreign trade and integration, economic development, and fiscal federalism. Previously, he was a researcher and visiting professor at the University of New Mexico, the University of Texas (A&M), and the University of Bonn. He has been a member of LARR (Latin America Research Review) and has worked as a consultant for the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), and CAF-development bank of Latin America. He has also been member of the board of the National Commission of Foreign Trade of Argentina. view publications
Antonio Silveira

Vice President of Infrastructure, CAF –Development Bank of Latin America-
He holds a Doctorate in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He was Deputy Chief of the Economic Advisory section of the Ministry of Planning, Secretary of Economic Monitoring of the Ministry of Finance and Minister of the Secretariat of Ports of the Government of Brazil. He participated in the Board of Directors of public and private companies, in which Caixa Económica Federal, Vale S.A. (Fiscal Council) and Banco do Nordeste merit particular mention. He was Executive Director for Brazil at the World Bank and the IDB.
Ashok Seetharaman

Centre Director (eGovernment Leadership Centre) at ISS, National University of Singapore
Ashok has over 35 years of ICT experience that spans across Government and Private sector organisations in Asia. His primary domain of expertise and experience is on leadership and management of Digital Government Transformation, Design of Public Services and Innovation programs. He is a member of the Expert Group of United Nation's eGovernment Ranking Committee, New York. He has also been listed in the ‘World’s 100 Most Influential People in Digital Government 2019’.
