US$640 Million for Energy and Road Infrastructure in Argentina

CAF—development bank of Latin America—has pledged US$500 million to fund the 500 kV Pico Truncado–Rio Turbio–Río Gallegos–Calafate Extra High Voltage Line project. In addition, CAF has earmarked US$140 million for the Regional Road Development Program, which it has funded since 2004. The President of Argentina witnessed the signing of the two loan agreements concluded by CAF executive president and the Minister of Economy.
