What is the Latin America and Caribbean International Economic Forum and why participate?

 

The International Economic Forum (IEF) is a fundamental space for redefining the trajectory of Latin America and the Caribbean. Its 2026 edition will take place on January 28 and 29, 2026, in Panama City.
 
This high-level event will be the meeting point for authorities, business leaders, and decision-makers to address urgent issues in Latin America and the Caribbean and discuss joint actions to promote growth, inclusion, and competitiveness in the region.
 
The forum will feature the participation of authorities such as Sergio Díaz-Granados, Executive President of CAF; Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil; and José Raúl Mulino, President of the Republic of Panama.
