CAF Takes Latin America’s Voice to UN General Assembly

CAF Development Bank of Latin America, organized the event Many Voices, One Region: Latin America and the Caribbean Working Together on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development held in New York City, where more than 50 senior figures and leaders discussed the progress and challenges of the region in implementing the 2030 Agenda. The organization celebrated 10 years as a Permanent Observer to the UN.

CAF’s XX Special Shareholders’ Meeting approved by consensus a capital increase of USD 7 billion over the next few years, which will double the organization’s portfolio by 2030, thereby strengthening its role as an ally of sustainable development and regional integration. At the same meeting, the incorporation of the Dominican Republic and El Salvador as full members was approved.
