CAF's Committee on Access to Information and Institutional Transparency - (CAITI)
Committee on Access to Information and Institutional Transparency
This is the collegiate body responsible for implementing policy, promoting and guaranteeing transparency and access to information in the framework of CAF's activities, whose objective is to promote proactive transparency, as well as to ensure the right of access to information by all stakeholders, including governments, citizens, institutions and other relevant actors.
Integration of CAITI
CAITI is made up of the institution's senior management, headed by the committee's president (head of the General Secretariat), CAF's five vice presidents, who have voice and vote, and the information security officer (CISO).
Powers of the CAITI
Among its responsibilities, CAITI proposes and supervises the implementation of the Access to Information and Institutional Transparency Policy, as well as the progress of the Access to Information and Institutional Transparency Program. Likewise, it is the last instance to resort to in case of appeal for reconsideration and acquittal of information requests.
