Invitation to Prequalify for the Supply and Delivery of Laptops, Cases and Headsets

The Ministry of Public Administration and Artificial Intelligence (MPAAI) of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago invites interested Suppliers to participate in the Prequalification process for the Supply and Delivery of Laptops, Cases and Headsets. This process is part of the project “Strengthening Digital Infrastructure in Trinidad and Tobago through the Establishment of a Tier 4 Data Centre,” financed by the CAF - development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean -.

Prequalification is a mandatory step to determine which Suppliers will be eligible to submit a Bid during the formal tender process.

Purpose of the Invitation

The objective of this Invitation to Prequalify is to identify Suppliers with the technical, financial, and operational capacity to supply and deliver laptops, cases and headsets in accordance with the requirements of the forthcoming Bid Package.

Only Suppliers who successfully prequalify will be invited to submit a bid.

Who May Apply

This Invitation is open to all Suppliers—local or international—interested in providing the specified equipment and capable of meeting the registration and documentation requirements outlined below.

Requirements for Participation

1. OPR Procurement Depository Registration

All Suppliers must be registered on the Office of Procurement Regulation (OPR) Procurement Depository, as required by law.

2. Mandatory Update of Documents

Suppliers who have previously prequalified must update their documents in accordance with the details provided in the Instructions to Prequalify.

3. Registration on the MPAAI’s Ebox Tender Portal

In addition to OPR registration, Suppliers must upload their documents to the MPAAI’s Ebox Tender Portal, available from December 9, 2025.

Selection Method

Only Suppliers who meet or exceed the Prequalification criteria will be deemed eligible to submit a bid for the supply and delivery of laptops, cases and headsets.

The MPAAI intends to award one contract to a successful Bidder.
