Request for Proposal for the Hiring of a Tendering and Supervision Agent in Barbados for the Reduction of Non-Revenue Water

At the request of the Government of Barbados, CAF is launching an international call for the hiring of a tendering and supervision agent to support the preparation of basic designs aimed at reducing non-revenue water in prioritized areas of the country.

Within the framework of the Water Sector Pre-Investment Program (PPSA), CAF –Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean– has published the Request for Proposal (RFP) to participate in the “Consultancy Service for the Hiring of a Tendering and Supervision Agent for the Preparation of Basic Designs for the Reduction of Non-Revenue Water in Prioritized Areas of Barbados.”

The consultancy aims to support CAF and the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) in managing the tender process and the technical supervision of a key project to improve the efficiency of the potable water system and modernize its infrastructure. The objective is to ensure transparent, efficient processes aligned with international standards.

Call details:

  • Funds: Provided by CAF through the PPSA.

  • Reference budget: USD 90,000.

  • Proposal language: English.

  • Execution period: 18 months from the signing of the contract.

How to participate:
Interested consultancy firms must submit their proposal to supervisiones_ppsa@caf.com, following the guidelines set forth in the RFP. Participation in the form of a consortium or temporary association is allowed.
