Principal Executive, Global Partnerships. CAF- Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Patricio Scaff serves as the External Relations Coordinator at CAF, where he leads efforts to drive a comprehensive agenda for fostering development partnerships, supporting resource mobilization, and promoting knowledge-sharing initiatives, such as through CAF Conferences. Before joining CAF, he worked as a Democratic Governance Specialist for Central America and the Caribbean at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, managing regional integration projects, particularly in health, security, and justice sectors. He also worked for the Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques and the French National Committee of UN Women, focusing on resource mobilization and building strategic partnerships, especially with the private sector. He began his studies at the School of Government and Public Management at the University of Chile and holds a BA and a master's degree in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris, with a specialization in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Alejandra Claros Borda, has a degree in Law and Political Sciences. From a very young age, she has had different responsibilities in high political spheres of her country, such as Chief of Staff of the President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia and National Coordinator of the National Telecommunications Company (ENTEL). Subsequently, in 2015 she joined CAF as Secretariat Coordinator, to later be in charge of the Institution's political analysis. In December 2021 she was appointed as Secretary General, a responsibility that for the first time in the history of the Institution falls on a woman. She has a postgraduate degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Plurinational Diplomatic Academy; a master's degree in Multidisciplinary Law from the Universidad Mayor de San Simón (Bolivia) and another in Communication and Political Marketing, the latter obtained at the University of Alcalá (Spain). Likewise, he has specializations in Latin American and Caribbean Studies and another in Technology and Political Subjectivity, both granted by the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO).

Degree in Economics from the National University of Córdoba (1997). His research interests are in the areas of labor economics, economic development, family economics, and public policy and program evaluation. Previously, he worked as a research economist at the IERAL of the Mediterranean Foundation (Argentina) and as a professor at the Pompeu Fabra University, the National University of Córdoba and the 21st Century Business University (Argentina). Senior Research Economist at CAF Socioeconomic Research Unit, where he has been working for more than 10 years. Before joining CAF, he was a Research Economist at the Central Bank of Venezuela.   He is an Economist from Universidad Central de Venezuela with a Master Degree in Operations Research from Universidad Central de Venezuela and a PhD in Economics from The University of Rochester.    His research interests relate to Productivity and Growth, Labor Economics and Development Economics.

Economista colombiano, graduado de la Universidad de los Andes en Bogotá, Colombia con título de Magister en Economía de la misma universidad y de Master of Arts en Economía del Transporte de la Universidad de Leeds en Reino Unido. Más de 15 años de experiencia en el sector de planificación de transporte en donde ha trabajado tanto en el sector público como en el privado en América Latina y España. Inició su carrera profesional en el sector transporte trabajando en la Superintendencia de Puertos y Transporte de Colombia, posteriormente se desempeñó como jefe de proyectos de la consultora Española Estudios Proyectos y Planificación S.A. (EPYPSA) en Madrid España, empresa en la que en su última etapa se desempeñó como Director general de la oficina de Epypsa Colombia en Bogotá, liderando destacados proyectos de actuaciones urbanas integrales y de planificación territorial y de transporte en Colombia. En la actualidad se desempeña como ejecutivo principal, especialista en Movilidad y Transporte Urbano para la región sur en la Vicepresidencia de Infraestructura de CAF -Banco de Desarrollo de América Latina-, apoyando proyectos como el desarrollo e implementación de proyectos de transporte masivo en Brasil (Niteroi, Fortaleza), y Bolivia (La Paz, Tarija). Igualmente ha tenido participación activa en el desarrollo de estudios enfocados a la movilidad sostenible, la seguridad vial, integración del transporte, actuaciones urbanas integrales y fortalecimiento institucional de la movilidad, en los diversos países de la región sur: Bolivia, Chile, Brasil, Paraguay, Argentina y Uruguay.

Sergio Díaz-Granados has extensive experience in public and private service, both nationally and internationally, with special emphasis on regional development and integration issues. Before assuming the presidency of CAF, he served as Executive Director for Colombia at the Inter-American Development Bank. He previously held the positions of Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia, Vice Minister of Business Development and President of the Boards of Directors of Bancóldex and ProColombia. He also has been a congressman and chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee of the Colombia’s House of Representatives.

Es abogado y especialista en gobierno y finanzas de la Universidad Externado de Colombia, con estudios de posgrado en Gerencia Pública para el Desarrollo Social realizados en INAP (España). Tiene una amplia trayectoria en el servicio público y privado, con especial énfasis en temas de desarrollo e integración regional. Previo a asumir la presidencia de CAF, se desempeñó como director ejecutivo para Colombia en el BID. Anteriormente ejerció los cargos de ministro de Comercio, Industria y Turismo, viceministro de Desarrollo Empresarial y presidente del Directorio de Bancóldex y ProColombia. Fue congresista y presidente del Comité de Asuntos Económicos de la Cámara de Representantes de Colombia.
