During three days of work, participants addressed priority issues for strengthening the multilateral system, with special emphasis on best practices in corporate governance, transparency, access to information, and the use of technological tools and artificial intelligence to support the decision-making and management processes of the governing bodies.

The meeting provided an opportunity to deepen initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, accountability and coordination among agencies, thus promoting common standards and more open, modern and citizen-oriented management models. Likewise, institutional advances and challenges were discussed in a changing global context, reaffirming the role of the secretariats as guarantors of integrity, institutional legitimacy and sound governance processes.

"Boosting governance and transparency means making every decision clear, accountable and oriented towards sustainable development. Strengthening accountability not only consolidates trust in our institutions, it also allows us to build a more just future for the entire region," said Alejandra Claros Borda, CAF Secretary General.

Desde CAF estamos construyendo una cultura de apertura que entiende la transparencia no solo como un principio, sino como una práctica viva que fortalece la confianza y la participación ciudadana”.

As part of the agenda, the international representatives participated in the inauguration of the cultural exhibition "Weaving worlds. Tramar paisaje" at CAF's art gallery, an activity that reflects the institution's commitment to regional integration through culture. The exhibition proposed a dialogue between art, territory and community, underscoring how culture also weaves development, identity and social cohesion in the region.

The attending Secretaries expressed their appreciation to CAF for its leadership, the technical quality of the sessions, its hospitality and its role as a regional hub for dialogue, institutional innovation and the strengthening of multilateralism.
