Foreign Minister of Suriname visits CAF

(Caracas, December 2, 2011).- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Suriname, Winston Lackin, paid a courtesy visit to Enrique García, president & CEO of CAF - Latin American development bank.

The meeting made progress on plans for the future membership of this South American country in the multilateral financial institution.

The other members of the delegation accompanying Minister Lackin were Maikel Soekhnandan and Joan Pahlen-Abdul, respectively, head and legal counsel of the International Relations department of the Central Bank of Suriname.
