In April 2022, Honduras formally notified its intention to become a CAF member country directly. In July 2022, the Board of Directors and, in August of that same year, the Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting respectively approved the conditions for the country's incorporation. Once all the conditions were met, in November 2023, the country acquired the Series "A" share and became a CAF member country.
