Feasibility studies and an advanced basic design for sewer systems, wastewater treatment plant and drinking water system improvements for five cities of Paraguay III

July 21 to September 27, 2022

As a request of Paraguay Government, CAF will finance the "Sanitation Program for intermediate cities of the eastern region of Paraguay III". The cities benefited with this project are Tomas Romero Pereira, J. Eulogio Estigarribia, Villa Elisa, Ita and Paraguarí.

Therefore, it invites interested consulting firms to present their proposal to prepare "feasibility studies and an advanced basic design for sewer systems, wastewater treatment plant and drinking water system improvements for five intermediate cities in the eastern region of Paraguay III".

RFP’s objective is to identify the consultancy company which will perform the studies.

 

Consultancy services consist in carrying out designs of the sewerage systems, wastewater treatment plant and drinking water system improvements at a sufficient level of detail to tender these construction works. Moreover, it will include technical, economic, financial, environmental, and social feasibility project studies. The service will cover all the activities that need to be done, the development of the implementation schedule according to what was planned, and the physical and financial resources needed to carry out those activities.   

  • Resources: CAF will make financial resources available for contracting the consultancy through the Water Sector Pre-Investment Program (CAF-PPSA).

Interested consulting firms may join other firms in the form of a consortium or temporal association.
