CAF at FITUR 2024
The International Tourism Fair (FITUR), which will be held in Madrid, Spain, from January 24 to 28, is the main international tourism fair in the Hispanic world.
Aligned with its objective of being the green bank and sustainable and inclusive growth in Latin America and the Caribbean, for the second consecutive year, CAF will participate in this meeting, where in addition to having a stand, we will present the bank's tourism strategy and we will organize different activities that will have the presence of leaders from the region's tourism sector.
CAF stand at FITUR
At the CAF stand, located in Pavilion 3 No 3C18 (in front of the cafeteria), we will share with FITUR attendees the bank's development agenda, as well as the different financing and technical support opportunities to promote the tourism sector both from governments, as well as private companies. We will carry out gastronomic experiences of representative products from Latin America and the Caribbean, which are part of the attraction that the region has for all tourists around the world.
CAF action in tourism
At FITUR 2024, we will present CAF's Sustainable Tourism Strategy which seeks to promote a tourism development model that balances long-term economic growth, through the promotion of public and private investments, generating employment opportunities stable that contribute to the reduction of poverty and the closing of regional gaps, that values ecosystem services and their biodiversity, urban and rural environments, cultural and symbolic spaces and the ancestral knowledge of indigenous peoples, respecting authenticity sociocultural of the host communities.
