The board of directors of CAF—development bank of Latin America—approved the Access to Information and Institutional Transparency Policy, reaffirming its commitment to transparency, strengthening governance and providing better access to information for Latin Americans and Caribbeans.

The Access to Information and Institutional Transparency Policy is a recognition of Latin Americans’ and Caribbeans’ right to easy and agile access to the institution’s information, and is a important tool to consolidate trust in CAF, helping us become a more attractive ally for mobilization of funds to Latin America and the Caribbean.

This is the initial component in implementing the Access to Information and Institutional Transparency Program, which aims at adaptation of its regulations to international standards, thereby improving corporate governance and making CAF an increasingly solid institution.
